"Kaylene
has all the credentials to be an excellent runner for us. She has
had an excellent summer and I expect her to push for a top 5 spot on
the squad."
2005 Season -- Kaylene had an up and down
freshman season. She was in and out of the Bears' top five all
season long. Her best time of 21:33 came at the Greater
Louisville Invitational on September 24.
Utica High School -- Baker,
a 1st team all-conference performer, helped lead Utica to a 2nd place conference
finish as a senior. She also earned honorable-mention
all-district recognition. She recorded a personal best time of
21:14 during her high school career. She also earned
Scholar-Athlete honors. |
