| Coach's Comment -- "Kristyn
became the first women to earn AMC and NAIA Academic
All-American honors last year. She ran two of her top 5 times last
season and I expect her to set a new top five during her senior
year. She will repeat as an Academic All-American!"
2005 Season --
Kristyn ran in the top 5 for the Bears in all but one meet.
Her best time of the season (20:37) came at the Greater Louisville
Invitational on September 24. She earned American Mideast
Conference All-Scholar Athlete recognition for the second straight
year.
2004 Season -- Kristyn ran in the top 5 for the Bears
all season long. She placed 7th at the Winthrop
Invitational for her one top 10 finish on the year.
2003
Season --Krystyn was the #3 runner, with consistent
times in the low 20's.
She ran a career best time of 20:06 at the Wilmington Fall
Classic. Krystyn received the team's Most Improved Runner
Award.
2002 Season -- Kristyn ran a
career best time of 23:24 at the Greensboro
Invitational.
Kings High School -- In
addition to cross country, Kristyn ran track and played
basketball at Kings High School. She owns the 7th
fastest 5K time in Kings High School History (20:29).
Kings High School placed 4th in the state during her junior
year.
