AMC/NAIA Region IX Championship |
| Shawnee State
finished 5th out of 15 teams at the AMC/NAIA Region IX
Championship. Star Emmert paced the Bears with a 13th
place overall finish. She covered the course in 19:52
to earn 2nd Team All-AMC Honors and qualify to run at the
NAIA National Championship. Trisha Krueger placed 18th
overall in 20:09. She missed qualifying for All-AMC
Honors by just 1 second. Jennifer Liming (20:37),
Megan Ball (21:13), and Candice Eagon (22:10) rounded out
the scoring for Shawnee State. |

Southeastern Classic |
| Shawnee State
finished 6th out of 27 teams at the Southeastern
Classic. SSU placed behind such NAIA powers as Malone,
Cedarville, and Berry. Trisha Krueger placed 11th in a
time of 19:34 to lead the Bears. Star Emmert placed
25th in 20:07. Jennifer Liming (20:33), Megan Ball
(21:16), and Ashley Meadows (21:36) rounded out the scoring
for Shawnee State. |

| Shawnee
State placed 5th out of 18 teams at the Wilmington Fall
Classic. Trisha
Krueger led the women's squad for the sixth time in seven
meets this season. She placed 9th with a time of
19:59. Star Emmert placed 15th in 20:20.
Jennifer Liming (21:18), Megan Ball (21:41), and Candice
Eagon (21:41) rounded out the scoring for Shawnee State. |

placed 5 out of 10 teams in the NCAA II/NAIA Division of the
All-Ohio Meet. Trisha Krueger led the women with a 17th
place finish in the division.
She covered the 5k course in 20:17.

Ashley Meadows (22:09), Candice Eagon (22:10), and
Kristyn Allen (22:29) rounded out the scoring for SSU. |

Winthrop Invitational |
| Shawnee
State captured its first championship of the season with a
victory at the Winthrop Invitational. The Bears placed
first out of twelve teams. Freshman Trisha Krueger won
the event as she recorded the fastest time (19:11) in SSU
women’s cross country history.
Star Emmert placed 8th in a time of 20:25.
Kristyn Allen ran 9th in 20:27.
Jennifer Liming and Candice Eagon rounded out the scoring
for the Bears.

Friendship Invitational |
| Shawnee State
placed 7th out of 14 teams at the Friendship Invitational
hosted by Cedarville University. Trisha
Krueger ran the fastest time in SSU women’s cross country history
(19:33) to pace the Bears with an 18th place finish.
Star Emmert’s time of 19:55 is the 8th fastest
Shawnee State time ever. Emmert
placed 30th overall.
Jennifer Liming cracked SSU’s top 20 times with a time of
20:32 and 47th place finish.
Candice Eagon and Megan Ball rounded out the scoring for SSU.

Hanover Invitational |
| Shawnee State
placed 5th out of 7 teams at the Hanover Invitational.
Trisha Krueger led the women’s squad with a 9th
place finish. She
finished with a time of 19:50, which is the 4th
fastest time ever recorded by an SSU runner.
Star Emmert finished 19th in 20:46
followed by Kristyn Allen in 20th position with a
time of 20:47. Jennifer
Liming (21:10) and Ashley Meadows (21:57) rounded out the
scoring for SSU.

Tiffin-Heidelberg Classic |

Shawnee
State finished 3rd out of 5 teams at the
Tiffin-Heidelberg Classic. Freshman
Star Emmert led the women’s squad with an 8th
place finish. She
covered the 6K course in 24:36.
Fellow freshman Trisha Krueger placed 11th
in 24:50. Kristyn
Allen (25:31), Jennifer Liming (25:56), and Ashley Meadows
(27:04) rounded out the scoring for the Bears.
Like the men’s squad, the women’s team is
battling the injury bug at the moment.
The top two runners from last year’s squad, Candice
Eagon and Megan Ball both are out with injuries. |
