Coach's Comment -- "Megan had an outstanding running career at Southeastern High School. I expect her to be in the low 20:00s this season and to be in our top 5 runners. She has tremendous potential."

2003 Season -- Megan had an excellent season as a freshman.  She currently holds the school record with a time of 19:44, which she ran at the AMC Championships.  Megan had a 6th place finish at the NAIA Region IX-X Championship and was the first woman from SSU to qualify for the NAIA National Championship meet.  She shared honors with freshman teammate Candice Eagon by receiving the team's Outstanding Freshman and Most Valuable Runner awards.

Southeastern High School -- Ball is a two-time league and county champion.  She earned all-conference and all-district honors four times each in her career.
