Coach's Comment -- Sadie is another of the very good freshman recruits from Kings High School. She has had excellent experience and has great potential. I expect Sadie to be a strong competitor by the end of her freshman season.

2002 Season -- Sadie recorded a career best time of 22:45 at the Shawnee State Invitational where she placed 27th.  Her second best time came at the AMC/Region IX Meet.

Kings High School -- Carson earned all-conference honors each of her last three years in high school.  She is a 
three-time district qualifier and two-time regional qualifier.  She helped lead Kings High School to conference championships all four years in which she competed.  She holds the 13th fastest time in school history.   She also lettered in track and basketball.

Up-Close -- Sadie is the daughter of Don and Anne Carson.  She enjoys listening to music, shopping, and spending time with her friends.  Her older brother ran track and cross country at Marshall University.  Sadie is undecided for a major.
