came to end today for Shawnee State as they were defeated by
Albertson (25-7) by a final score of 75-65. Brandy
Humphrey led the Bears with 15 points. Mandy Goin added
14 points while Cheri Griffith had 12 points. Alyson
Pincock led Albertson with 20 points and 10 rebounds. |

vs. Judson College |
| Shawnee State
defeated Judson College 84-70 in the second round of the 10th
annual NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National
Championship. Shawnee State led by twelve points at
halftime and had six players score in double figures.
Mandy Goin was the leading scorer for the Bears with 18
points. She was followed by Becky Holden who scored 17.
Judson was led by Shawna Jensen who scored a game-high 24

vs. Florida Memorial |
| Top seeded Shawnee
State overcame a seven point halftime deficit and defeated
Florida Memorial College 64-46 in the first round of the 10th
annual NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National
Championship. Mandy Goin was the leading scorer for the
Bears with 20 points and 17 rebounds. Brandy Humphrey
next with 18 points for Shawnee. Nicolene Johnson was
Florida Memorial's top scorer with 21 points. |
