Coach's Comments -- “Kara’s been in the starting line-up since her freshman year.  As a veteran, we’ll need her leadership, especially given we have so many young players.  There is a lot she can teach our freshmen and sophomores about this game and this conference, and I am counting on her to do just that.”

2005 Season -- Kara played in all 111 games as a senior.  She was second on the team with 261 kills and third with 32 service aces.  Kara broke the school record for career digs with 897 and career service aces with 181.  Her most complete game of the season came in the 3-2 win over Asbury.  She recorded 17 kills, 20 digs, 1 service ace, and 1 block.

2004 Season -- Kara played in all but one game in 2004.  She was third on the team with 199 kills and fourth in service aces (34) and digs (175).  She recorded a career-high 19 kills in a 3-1 win at Rio Grande on October 5.  She became the school's all-time career digs leader with 760.

2003 Season -- Kara was second on the squad with 58 aces.  After just two seasons, Kara places second on the career-aces list with 115.  She is fourth on the all-time digs list with 585.

2002 Season -- Kara led the Bears with 57 service aces on the season.  She tied a school record with 10 aces over OU-Southern on September 9.  She recorded a career-high 13 kills in the Bears' upset of Mt. Vernon Nazarene and again in a home loss to Cedarville. Kara was named to the AMC All-Freshman team.

Lancaster High School -- Kara was a 1st Team All County selection and was also award the team’s most improved player. Kara also earned the Karen Wohrer Scholarship while lettering two years in volleyball.
