-- “Sarah is another player I
recruited for her potential. She’s very athletic, and has
an excellent attitude and work ethic. We’re not going to
rush her; as she progresses, and adjusts to the college
game, we’ll continually re-evaluate where she best fits in
to our line-up. We’ll probably start her out on the right
side, with the goal of moving her to the left side as her
career progresses.”
2005 Season -- Sarah set out the
2005 season as a red-shirt.
Ironton High School -- Sarah
earned first-team all-district honors and was her team’s
most valuable player in both her junior and senior years.
She lettered all four years in both volleyball and
basketball, and served as co-captain of both teams as a
senior.
