-- “As
a senior, we need Kristi to be a major contributor to our
team this year.
She’s certainly one of the most athletic players on
the team; the main nemesis she needs to overcome is
occasional inconsistency.
To her credit, she is incredibly competitive, and
never gives less than everything she has on the court.
If the passion with which she plays the game of
volleyball spills over to her teammates, this could be a fun
year.” 2004 Season --
Kristi was second on the team with 84 blocks. She
concluded her career second on the all-time career blocks
list with 227.
2003 Season -- Kristi
played in just 41 games during her junior year. She
recorded a season-high 9 kills in a win over Earlham on
September 6.
2002 Season -- Kristi
had somewhat of a sophomore slump. She was second on the
squad with 32 blocks, and 5th with 129
kills.
2001 Season -- Kristi was second
on the team with 103 total blocks. She recorded a
career-high 14 kills in a win at Point Park on October
6. She had a career-high 10 blocks in a loss to
Cedarville on October 9.
Warren High School -- Kristi earned 2
letters in volleyball as well as 4 letters in track. She led
Warren to a 44-3 record in two seasons with the volleyball
team. She followed up Honorable Mention All-District Honors as
a junior, by being named the League and District Player of the Year
as a senior. |
