2010 Season
-- Katie had a stellar senior season for the Bears.
Katie posted a 14-13 record on the mound with an ERA of 1.66.
In conference action she posted an 8-0 record with an ERA of 1.15.
Katie started in 27 games on the mound and in 189.1 innings pitched
she struck out 169 batters against 28 walks. Offensively she
compiled a batting average of .239 with 21 hits, six runs scored,
three doubles and five RBI's. Katie earned 1st Team All-AMC
and was named an NAIA Scholar Athlete for the second time.
2009 Season
-- On the mound Katie posted a record of 5-6. She
started 11 games and compiled an ERA of 4.43. On the season
she struck out 48 batters in 67 innings against 12 walks.
Offensively, she tallied a .227 batting average with six runs, 10
hits, and three RBI's.
2008 Season
-- Katie posted a record of 11-9 on the mound with an ERA
of 2.89 in 21 appearances. Offensively, she compiled a .255
batting average with 9 runs, 25 hits, 6 doubles, and 9 RBI's.
Olney Community College - Katie played one
season at Olney Community College.
Fairview High School -- Katie was a
three-time all-area pitcher of the year. She was a 1st Team
All-State selection as a senior. Over the course of her
four-year career she recorded 1060 strikeouts and 5 perfect games.
She hit .435 as a senior.
