University to complete the season. Ali Hull-Keaton hit a

innings. Lori Harmon was tagged with the loss as she
pitched 10 innings and allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, 1 walk and

Shawnee State lost the opener in a classic
pitcher's duel by the score of 1-0. Both teams managed
just four hits in the contest. The lone run in the
game came on a suicide squeeze in the 4th inning. Lori
Harmon (8-9) took the loss for the Bears. Miranda Laws

added an insurance run in the top of the 7th on an RBI

Shawnee State split a double-header at
Pikeville College.
Shawnee State won the opener 6-1. The Bears opened the
scoring with a pair of runs in the first inning.
Pikeville scored their only run of the game in the bottom of
the inning. Shawnee State scored three in the fifth
inning and one in the sixth. Emily Furhmann was
3-for-4 in the game with 2 runs scored and an RBI.
Katie Daniel was 2-for-3 with a run scored and 1 RBI.
Lori Harmon (6-5) picked up the win as she scattered 8 hits
over 7.0 innings. She struck out 5 and walked one.

gave up 5 consecutive 2-out singles in the bottom of the
fourth inning allowing Pikeville to tie the game.
Pikeville's Tiffany Little reached on an error to lead off

out and then scored on a single by Megan Swan to win the

|
Shawnee State lost a double-header at Mt. Vernon
Nazarene. Shawnee State lost
the opener by a score of 2-1. The Bears took a 1-0 lead in
the 3rd inning on a two-out double by Lauren Ellis. Mt.
Vernon tied the game in the 5th inning as Luarretta Wallace
scored on a single by Tasha Konkle. Mt. Vernon won the
game in the bottom of the 7th thanks to a hit batter and an
error. Wallace led off the inning with a double.
Whitney Clark was then hit by a pitch. Tasha Konkle
reached on a fielder's choice as Lori Harmon attempted to make
the force play at 3rd base. Harmon's throw was off
the mark and all runners wire safe. One out later, Leslie
Banichar singled to left field to end the game. Lori
Harmon (5-5) was tagged with the loss as she allowed 2 runs (1
earned) on 10 hits through 6 1/3 innings. Kristin Eyerman
(8-1) picked up the win for Mt. Vernon. [Box

After getting off to an 8-1
start, the Shawnee State Softball Team has lost four straight
games including a double-header setback at Ohio Dominican.
Shawnee State lost the opener 9-5. The Bears took a 1-0
lead in the 2nd inning on an RBI single by Tammie Jo Coleman.
ODU responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the inning.
Trailing 5-2 after five innings, the Bears tied the game with a
3-run sixth only to see Ohio Dominican put up a 4-spot in the
bottom of the sixth. Lori Harmon took the loss as she
allowed 9 runs (7 earned) on 12 hits. Emily Fuhrmann had 2
hits and 3 RBI. Lauren Ellis, Ali Keaton, and Lori Harmon
