May 13 vs. Tiffin (@ NAIA Region IX Tournament)
Shawnee State lost to Tiffin University 7-2 and was eliminated from the NAIA Region IX Tournament.  Lori Harmon (18-8) was tagged with the loss as she allowed 5 runs on 7 hits and 1 walk in 4 1/3 innings.  She struck out 5 in the game.  Ashley Keen allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 1 2/3 innings.  Tammie Jo Coleman had 2 of Shawnee State's 6 hits in the game.  Tiffin belted three homeruns on the day.  The Dragons went on to win the tournament and earn an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
 
May 12 vs. Notre Dame (@ NAIA Region IX Tournament)

Shawnee State defeated Notre Dame College 4-2 and advanced in the loser's bracket of the NAIA Region IX/X Tournament.  Katie Wade had a pair of hits including a homerun.  Tammie Jo Coleman also had a pair of hits in the contest.  Lori Harmon (18-7) picked up the win as she allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 8 hits.  She struck out 9 and did not allow a walk.

 
May 10 vs. Lyndon State (@ NAIA Region IX Tournament)

Shawnee State defeated Lyndon State 9-0 in the first game of the loser's bracket at the NAIA Region IX/X Tournament.  Ashley Keen (12-5) took a perfect game two outs into the 5th inning before surrendering a single.  It was the only hit she allowed.  Tammie Jo Coleman had a pair of doubles and an RBI.  She also scored 3 runs.  Ashley Adkins had 3 RBI and a run scored. 

 
May 10 vs. Rio Grande (@ NAIA Region IX Tournament)

Shawnee State lost the opening game of the NAIA Region IX/X Tournament to Rio Grande by a score of 4-2.  Andrea Lotycz (12-12) picked up the win for Rio Grande.  Lori Harmon (17-7) was tagged with the loss as she allowed 4 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits while striking out 4.  Shawnee State was hitless through 6 innings.  The Bears managed to push two runs across and load the bases before Lotycz worked out of the jam.

 
May 4 vs. Malone (AMC Qualifying Tournament)

Shawnee State swept a double header against Malone to win the American Mideast Conference Qualifying series.  Shawnee State won the first game 8-0.  Lori Harmon (17-6) picked up the win, as she pitched 5 innings allowing only 1 hit and striking out 2.  Ashley Adkins was 2-2 in the game with 2 RBI's, 1 run and a double.  Tara Walker was 2-3 with 3 RBI's.  Harmon also added a double for the Bears.  Shawnee State won the second game 1-0.  Ashley Keen (11-5) picked up the win, as she allowed no runs, 5 hits, 3 walks while striking out 1.  In the 6th inning with runners on first and second Malone's Ashlee Locker lined into centerfield. Shawnee State's centerfielder Ashley Adkins fielded the ball and made a spectacular throw from centerfield to erase the go ahead run at home.  This was the final out for Malone in the 6th inning and preserved a 0-0 tie.  Shawnee State was able to respond with a run of its own in the 6th. With 2 outs, Tammie Jo Coleman walked and Emily Fuhrman singled to right field which advanced Coleman to second. This set up the hero from the top half of the inning as Adkins came to the plate and promptly singled to left center, sending Tammie Jo Coleman in for the winning run.  Keen was able to retire Malone in 7th inning and preserve the 1-0 victory.

 
April 26 vs. Rio Grande

Shawnee State split a double header on Wednesday afternoon.  After halting play the day before due to rain, the game was picked up in the top of the 2nd inning, Rio Grande leading 3-0, Shawnee State came back to win 5-3.  Lori Harmon (16-6) picked up the win, as she allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, 3 walks and struck out 4.  Trailing 3-0 in the 6th inning, Shawnee State rallied for 5 runs to take the lead. Tammie Jo Coleman lead off the inning with a walk.  Ashley Adkins reached on a fielder's choice and advanced to second and Coleman advanced to third.  Coleman then scored on a wild pitch.  Katie Wade walked and Ali Hull grounded out to short while Adkins scored on the play.  Tara Walker singled to right scoring Katie Wade.  Ashley Keen singled to right field advancing Walker to second.  With 2 runners on Kendra Hull singled to right field driving in the game winning run.  Shawnee State lost the second game by a score of 6-5.  Ashley Keen was tagged with the loss as she pitched 3 2/3 innings and allowed 5 runs on 4 hits and 1 walk.  She struck out 2.    Lori Harmon pitched 3 1/3 innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits and walking only 1.  Ashley Adkins hit a homerun in the game, her 9th of the season.  Katie Wade added a double for the Bears.

 
April 23 @ Ohio Dominican

Shawnee State dropped a pair of game to Ohio Dominican and fell out of 1st place in the American Mideast Conference South Division.  Shawnee State lost the opener by a score of 2-0.  Lori Harmon (15-6) was tagged with the loss.  She allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 2 hits.  Shawnee State's only hit in the game was a single by Ali Hull in the 4th inning.  Ohio Dominican run-ruled the Bears in the night-cap 8-0.  Ashley Keen (10-4) took the loss.  She allowed 8 runs on 11 hits and 5 walks in 4.2 innings.  Shawnee State had just two hits in the game.  Emily Fuhrmann singled in the 3rd inning and Jessica Jensen doubled to left in the 5th inning.

 
April 22 @ Walsh
Shawnee State split a double-header with Walsh University.  SSU won the opener 4-0.  Lori Harmon picked up the win as she scattered 5 hits and did not walk a batter.  Tammie Jo Coleman was 4-for-4 in the game with a run scored.  Ashley Adkins hit a pair of homeruns and had 3 RBI.  Ali Hull and Ashley Keen had 2 hits apiece.  Shawnee State lost the night-cap 6-4.  Ashley Keen took the loss as she allowed 6 runs on 12 hits.  The Bears managed just 6 hits in the contest.  Emily Fuhrmann was 2-for-3 with an RBI.  Ali Hull hit a solo homerun.
 
April 19 vs. Pikeville

Shawnee State split a double-header with Pikeville College. Shawnee State lost the opener 3-1.  Lori Harmon (14-5) was tagged with the loss as she allowed 3 runs on 8 hits.  She struck out 6 and did not allow a walk.  Tammie Jo Coleman had a double in the game.  Shawnee State won the second game 6-3.  Ashley Keen (10-2) got the win.  She allowed 3 runs on 11 hits and 1 walk.  She struck out 3.  Ashley Adkins was 3-3 in the game with a double.  Tara Walker also added a double for the Bears.

 
April 15 @ Malone

Shawnee State swept a double-header from Malone College.  Shawnee State won the opener 4-2.  Lori Harmon (14-4) picked up the win as she allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 8 hits.  She struck out 5 and did not walk a batter.  Shawnee State trailed 2-1 when Ali Hull hit a bases loaded single to tie the game.  Tara Walker followed with an RBI walk to give the Bears a 3-2 lead.  Walker added an RBI single in the 7th inning for the final margin.  Tammie Jo Coleman, Ashley Adkins, and Ali Hull had 2 hits apiece in the game.  Shawnee State won the night-cap 2-1.  Ashley Keen (9-2) got the win.  She allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 5.1 innings.  Lori Harmon picked up her first save of the season as she worked the final 1.2 innings.  She walked a runner in the 7th inning to snap a streak of 42 consecutive innings without surrendering a base on balls.  Tammie Jo Coleman hit a two-out triple to score Kendra Hull and give the Bears a 1-0 lead in the 5th inning.  Emily Fuhrman singled home Coleman for what would be the game winning run.

 
April 9 vs. Seton Hill

Shawnee State swept a double-header from Seton Hill.  Shawnee State won the first game by a score of 7-0.  Lori Harmon (13-4) picked up the win as she scattered 4 hits over 7.0 innings while striking out 5 and not allowing a walk.  Ali Hull hit her 6th homerun of the season in the 4th inning to give the Bears a 2-0 lead.  She finished with 4 RBI in the game and scored 2 runs.  The Bears won the night-cap 6-2.  Ashley Keen (8-2) allowed 2 runs on 9 hits.  She struck out 2 and did not allow a walk.  Ali Hull was 3-for-4 in the game with a run scored.  Tara Walker was 2-for-2 with a run scored.

 
April 8 @ Cedarville
Shawnee State swept an AMC double-header from Cedarville University.  The Bears won the opener 6-2.  Lori Harmon picked up the win as she allowed 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out four.  Tammie Jo Coleman and Ashley Adkins had 2 hits apiece in the game.  Ali Hull hit her 5th homerun of the season.  Shawnee State won the night-cap 6-1.  Ashley Keen allowed 1 run on 6 hits through 7.0 innings.  Katie Wade and Ali Hull had 2 hits apiece.  Ashley Adkins hit her 6th homerun of the year.
 
April 6 vs. Mt. Vernon

Shawnee State swept a double-header from Mount Vernon Nazarene. Shawnee State won the first game by a score of 2-1.  Lori Harmon (11-4) picked up the win allowing 1 run on 6 hits and no walks.  She struck out seven.  Tammie Jo Coleman had 2 hits in the game with a double. The Bears won game-two by a score of 9-3.  Ashley Keen picked up the win allowing 3 runs on 7 hits and walking one.  She had 3 strike-outs.  Shawnee State had 9 hits in the game.  Ali Hull hit a home-run, her fourth of the season. Katie Wade doubled twice.  Emily Fuhrmann and Ashley Adkins each doubled for the Bears. 

 
April 2 @ Urbana

Shawnee State swept a double-header from Urbana University to open American Mideast Conference.  Pitching in her 7th straight game, freshman Lori Harmon led the Bears to a 1-0 victory in the opening game.  Harmon has handled all of Shawnee State's pitching duties since Ashley Keen was struck in the pitching hand last Tuesday.  Despite the heavy workload, Harmon (10-4) was sharp as she allowed just 5 hits while striking out 4 in 7.0 innings of work.  The only run of the game came on Ashley Adkins' 2-out homerun in the top of the 5th inning.  The Bears won game-two by a score of 3-1.  Ashley Keen (5-2) picked up the win in her first start in five games.  She allowed 1 unearned run on 4 hits and 2 walks.  She struck out five.  Tammie Jo Coleman had 3 hits in the game.  Emily Fuhrmann and Ali Hull had 2 hits apiece.

 
March 31 @ Madonna
Shawnee State lost a double header to Madonna.  Shawnee State lost the first game 0-4.  Lori Harmon was tagged with the loss, allowing 4 runs on 10 hits and a walk.  Tammie Jo Coleman had Shawnee State's only hit of the game.  Shawnee State lost the second game 2-8.  Lori Harmon got the loss, allowing 8 runs on 16 hits, striking out 1.  Shawnee State had 7 hits in the game.  Emily Fuhrmann was 3-4 with a double and a run.  Tia Walling also had a double in the game.
 
March 30 @ Siena Heights
Shawnee State swept a double-header from Siena Heights.  Shawnee State won the opener by a score of 8-0.  Lori Harmon picked up the win for the Bears.  She allowed 3 hits, no walks, and struck-out 2.  Shawnee State had 11 hits in the game.  Katie Wade was 2-2 with a homerun.  Emily Fuhrmann added a triple and Tammie Jo Coleman had a double in the game.  Shawnee State won the second game 3-0.  Lori Harmon picked up the win, allowing 3 hits and striking out 3.  Shawnee State had 9 hits in the game.  Tara Walker had a triple.  Ashley Adkins, Katie Wade, and Tia Walling each added a double for the Bears.
 
March 27 @ Wilmington
Shawnee State swept a double-header from Wilmington College.  Shawnee State won the opener by a score of 7-0.  Lori Harmon picked up the complete game shut out. She allowed 5 hits, 1 walk, and struck-out 4.  Tammie Jo Coleman had 2 runs on 2 hits in the game.  Shawnee State won the second game 4-2.  Lori Harmon picked up the win for the Bears in relief of Ashley Keen.  Harmon worked the last two and two-thirds innings, allowing no runs, 1 hit, and 3 strikeouts. Keen pitched the first four and one-third innings allowing 2 runs on 6 hits and 3 strikeouts. Ashley Adkins was 3-4 in the game with a double. Shawnee State had 8 hits in the game.       
 
March 24 vs. Centenary @ Snowbird Tournament
Shawnee State defeated Centenary by the score of 9-1.  Lori Harmon picked up the win, allowing 3 hits and 1 walk.  Tara Walker went 4-4 in the game with a homerun and scored 2 runs. The Bears pounded 13 hits in the game. 
 
March 23 vs. St. Joseph College @ Snowbird Tournament
Shawnee State defeated St. Joseph College 16-0.  Lori Harmon picked up the shut out allowing no hits and only 1 walk in the game. Ashley Adkins was 3-3 with 2 homeruns (3 on the year) and a double. Emily Furhmann went 3-3 in the game with a double. Shawnee State pounded 18 hits in the game.     
 
March 23 vs. West Virginia State @ Snowbird Tournament
Shawnee State lost to West Virginia State by the score of 6-1.  Ashley Keen was tagged with the loss.  She gave up 4 runs allowing 9 hits and 2 walks with striking out four. Ali Hull had two hits in the game including a double.  Tammie Jo Coleman scored the only run for the Bears.    
 
March 22 vs. West Virginia State @ Snowbird Tournament
Shawnee State defeated West Virginia State by a score of 2-1.  Lori Harmon picked up the win for the Bears. She allowed 5 hits with no walks while striking out 1. Shawnee State had 7 hits in the game. Ali Hull went 2-3 with a homerun, her 2nd of the year, and a  double.  Katie Wade also went 2-3 in the game with a double.  
 
March 22 vs. Midland Lutheran @ Snowbird Tournament
Shawnee State lost to Midland Lutheran by a score of 2-1. Ashley Keen was tagged with the loss.  She gave up 2 runs on 7 hits and no walks while striking out 3. Shawnee State had 4 hits in the game.  Shawntavia Mason scored the only run for the Bears.  
 
March 14 vs. Charleston

Shawnee State swept a double-header from the University of Charleston.  Shawnee State won the opener by a score of 1-0.  Ashley Keen picked up the complete game shut out and improved to 4-0 on the season.  She scattered 5 hits and allowed just 1 walk in the game.  Michelle Sabelhaus was tagged with the loss.  Shawnee State stranded 9 runners in the game before finally plating a run in the bottom of the seventh inning.  Tammie Jo Coleman led off the 7th with a double to left field.  She advanced to 3rd on a wild pitch and scored 1 out later on a ground out to 1st base by Katie Wade.  Shawnee State won the night-cap 7-4.  The Bears pounded out 9 hits in the game.  Katie Wade was 3-for-4 with a homerun, her 2nd on the season, and 3 RBI.  Emily Fuhrman had 2 hits and scored 3 runs.  Lori Harmon snapped a two-game losing streak as she allowed 4 runs (1 earned) on 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out six.

 
March 7 @ Pikeville

Shawnee State split a double-header with Pikeville College.  Pikeville won the opener 7-0.  Lori Harmon (1-2) was tagged with the loss.  She gave up 7 runs (5 earned) as she allowed 9 hits and 5 walks while striking out five.  Kelly Neace picked up the win as she scattered 10 hits while allowing just 1 base-on-balls.  Tammie Jo Coleman had 3 hits in the game for SSU.  Jeanie Hamblin, Whitney Broyles, and Krista Kouns had 2 hits apiece.  Kouns and Broyles scored 2 runs each.  Shawnee State won the night-cap 7-6 in 9 innings.  Ashley Keen (3-0) picked up the complete game win as she allowed 6 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits.  She struck out a career-high 10 batters.  Emily Fuhrman, Ashley Adkins, Tia Walling, and Jessica Jensen each collected 2 hits in the game.  Walling scored a pair of runs and had 1 RBI.  Emily Fuhrman had 2 RBI.  Whitney Broyles and Krista Kouns had 2 hits each for Pikeville.

 
March 5 vs. Edgewood @ Finlandia
Shawnee State defeated Edgewood College 7-1 in its final game at the Superior Dome in Hancock, MI.  Ashley Keen (2-0) picked up the win.  She allowed 1 run on 4 hits and 1 walk in 7.0 innings.  Katie Wade had 3 hits for the Bears.  Keen belted a solo homerun and Emily Fuhrman had her first career triple.  Kristen Borre took the loss for Edgewood.
 
March 5 vs. Minnesota-Duluth @ Finlandia
Minnesota-Duluth spanked Shawnee State 10-0 to open day 2 at the Superior Dome.  Lori Harmon (1-1) gave up all 10 runs (only 6 earned) as she allowed 8 hits and 5 walks.  Brittany Hansen got the win for UMD.  Shawnee State managed just 4 hits in the game.  The Bears had just one runner reach 2nd base.  That came on a double by Ali Hull.
 
March 4 vs. St. Catherine @ Finlandia
Shawnee State won its second game at the Superior Dome 6-3 over St. Catherine College.  Ashley Keen (1-0) picked up the win as she allowed 2 runs on 2 hits and 1 walk.  Jessica Lewandoski was tagged with the loss.  Shawnee State collected 7 hits including a double from Tammie Jo Coleman, 2 doubles by Katie Wade, and a two-run homerun by Emily Fuhrman.
 
March 4 vs. Concordia @ Finlandia
Shawnee State opened the 2006 season with an 8-3 victory of Concordia (WI) at the Superior Dome in Hancock, MI.  Lori Harmon picked up the win in her collegiate debut.  She allowed 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits and 3 walks while striking out 10.  Sarah Rennicke took the loss for Concordia.  Shawnee State belted out 12 hits in the game.  Tammie Jo Coleman had 3 hits including a homerun.  Katie Wade, Ashley Adkins, and Ali Hull also had homeruns.  Tia Walling had a pair of hits.
