Coach's Comments -- "This year Tammie
is moving from 2nd base to shortstop. She will be leadoff
hitter, and I look for her to have a good batting average and be the
spark plug for this ball club."
2006 Season -- Tammie Jo started in all 43 games for the
Bears. She had 14 multi-hit games and led the Bears with a
.374 batting average, 139 at bats, 37 runs, 52 hits, 16 doubles, and
2 triples. She was 4-4 with a double and a run scored in the
Bears 4-0 victory over Walsh on April 22.
2005 Season -- Tammie Jo played in all 34
games as a freshman, primarily at 2nd base. She had 7
multi-hit games including a 4 for 7 performance in a 13 inning loss
to Cedarville University. Tammie Jo posted a 2-0 record in two
pitching appearances.
West Portsmouth High School -- Tammie Jo
was a four-year letter winner at West Portsmouth. She earned
all-conference and all-district honors during her career. She
helped lead the Senators to an 85-9 record over her last three
seasons.
