Coach's Comments -- "Tia has good
speed and has improved her offensive game. I look for her to
hit the ball well and be on the bases a great deal more this
season." 2005 Season -- Tia
played in 20 games as a sophomore. She hit .222 with 5 runs
scored and 2 RBI. She was the only regular player not to
commit an error on the season.
2004 Season -- Tia had 3
multi-hit games as a freshman. She was 2-2 with 2 runs scored
and 2 RBI in an 8-0 win over Frostburg State on March 22. She
led the team with 5 sacrifice bunts on the year.
Sylvania Northview High School
-- Walling, a
second team all-league outfielder, helped lead Northview to a 25-5
record and district championship her senior season.
