Coach's Comments -- "Rhonda has a
career ERA under two, but we haven't scored a lot of runs for
her. She possesses great senior leadership, and we need her to
pitch a bunch of innings this season."
2005 Season -- In 17 pitching appearances, Rhonda posted a
10-6 record and an ERA of 2.46. She pitched a 10 inning
complete game victory over Walsh University on April 29. She
led the team with 16 complete games, 35 strike outs, and 1 save.
She earned 2nd Team All-AMC honors and Academic All-AMC and
All-American recognition. 2004 Season -- Rhonda once
again anchored the Bears' pitching staff. She had the 10th
best ERA in the American Mideast Conference at 1.76. Opponents
hit just .204 against Sacks, which was the 4th best in the
conference. She struck out a career-high 6 batters in a loss
to Rio Grande on April 27.
2003 Season -- Rhonda earned
honorable mention All-AMC with a record of 6-9 pitching for the
Bears. She led the team with 43 strike outs in 99.2 innings
pitched.
2002 Season -- Despite a 12-10
record, Rhonda had the second best ERA in the AMC at 1.72.
Chelsey District High School
-- Rhonda played volleyball and soccer at Chelsey District High
School.
