Coach's Comments -- "Megan swings a
big stick. I'm looking for a break out year for her. She
needs to lead us offensively." 2005
Season -- Megan led the Bears with 6 homeruns and was 2nd on the
team with 21 RBI. She had 7 multi-hit games on the year
including a 3 for 3, 2 run, 3 RBI performance in a 6-5 win at Rio
Grande on April 27. 2004 Season -- Megan led the
team in homeruns (4) and RBI's (15). She was second on the
squad in doubles (7) and total bases (47). She had 5 multi-hit
games on the season, including a 3-hit game in a 7-1 win at Tiffin
on April 3. She picked up 2 wins in 2 pitching appearances on
the team's spring break trip to South Carolina.
2002 Season -- Megan earned
was named Honorable Mention All-AMC as a freshman. She led the
team with eight homeruns and 29 RBI's. She was second in the
league in the homerun race.
Portsmouth High School --
Megan played both softball and basketball. She was a captain
of her softball team her senior year. She earned 2nd Team
All-SOC, 1st Team All-District, and 1st Team All-Ohio honors in
softball.
