Coach's Comments --
"Kristi is a great team leader and team player. She has
picked up catching very well. She should continue to improve
at the plate."
2005 Season -- Kristi made a
smooth transition from infield to catcher. She was 4th on the
team in batting (.324), 2nd in runs scored (21), 1st in sacrifice
bunts (6), 1st in hits (34), 1st in walks (12), and had the 2nd best
on base percentage (.403). She earned 2nd Team All-AMC
recognition.
2004 Season --
Kristi's batting average of .298 was 4th on the squad. She was
3rd on the team with 28 hits and 2nd with 14 runs scored.
She had 8 multi-hit games. She had a season high 3 hits in an
8-3 win at Mt. Vernon on April 19.
2003
Season -- Kristi started 24 of the
Bears' 29 games at 2nd base. Her best game came in a
10-0 win over Urbana. She was 2-3 with 2 runs and 2
RBI's.
Mars Hill College
-- Kristi played softball for 1 year and was named to the SAC
Honor Roll.
Grove City High
School -- Kristi was a four-year letter winner in softball, basketball and soccer
Grove City. She was named the team's Defensive Player
of the Year in all three sports. She earned all-league
honors in each sport.
