privilege of coaching, including my daughter Amy and
granddaughter Tammie Jo," says Cole of his 500th victory.
"I would like to acknowledge all the help that I've had over
the years
that has allowed me to continue coaching while balancing
both of my careers."
"This is a great accomplishment for Coach
Cole and our softball program," say Athletic Director Jeff
Hamilton. "He has been a pillar of Shawnee State
softball for 19 years. He has taken his team numerous
times to the post season and to the brink of a National
Championship in 1997. This is another great milestone
for the Hall of Fame Coach."
