Coach's Comments --
Gonzalo will play center midfield for us again this
season. He has bettered his stats each year,
and we expect the same this year. He is coming
off a good season where he led the team in points,
and was 2nd team all-conference. 2006 Season --
Gonzalo started in all but one game. He led the
team with 9 goals and 21 points on the season.
He was second on the team with 3 assists. He
earned 2nd team American Mideast Conference
recognition.
2005 Season --
Gonzalo started in all 18 games. He led the team
with 9 goals and 22 points on the season. He was
2nd on the team with 4 assists. He broke the
school record for goals in a game with 4 and points in
a game with 9 in the Bears 5-6 lost to Tiffin.
2004 Season -- Gonzalo played in
all 19 games as a freshman. He was 3rd on the
team with 11 points and 3 goals scored. He was
2nd on the team with 5 assists. He earned Honorable
Mention All-American Mideast Conference honors.
Athens High School --
Gonzalo lettered twice in soccer at Athens High
School before moving back to Argentina. At
Athens he earned honorable mention all conference
recognition.
