April 16 @ OSU-Lima Invitational
Shawnee State golf team finished 2nd out of 16 teams at the OSU-Lima Invitational.  Northwestern Ohio won the event with a team total score of 323.  Shawnee State finished just behind UNOH with a score of 325.   Bryan Spille led the Bears as he finished 2nd overall as he shot 78 on the day.  R.D. Erwin totaled a score of 81, while Isaiah Keller who 82 at the event.  Rounding out the scoring for the Bears was Cody Robbins, who shot a 84 and Jay Rudmann, who finished with a score of 88.
 
April 2 @ Ohio University-Chillicothe
Shawnee State defeated Ohio University in a dual meet as the Bears won five matches, lost one, and tied two on the day.  Cody Robbins led the Bears as he shot 77, while Isaiah Keller scored 78.  R.D. Erwin and Craig Magill each totaled a 79 on the day, while Bryan Spille and Ron Dials shot 81 and 83 respectively. 
 
March 28 - 29 @ Glenville State Icebreaker
Shawnee State golf team finished 3rd out of eight teams at the Glenville State Icebreaker.  Shawnee State was the only NAIA school participating in the NCAA D. II tournament.  The University of Charleston won the event with a two-day score of 604.  The Bears shot a 637 for the two-day tournament, finishing one stroke off of 2nd place West Liberty University.  Bryan Spille led the Bears with a 7th place finished as he shot a two-day total of 157 (79+78).  Cody Robbins and Isaiah Keller each shot 160 over the two days, placing 15th overall.  Rounding out the scoring for the Bears, R.D. Erwin tallied a score of 165 (82+82) and Ronald Dials record a score of 170 (81+89) for the tournament.  [Results]
 
March 25 - 26 @ SEKI/MSC Spring Invitational
Shawnee State finished 9th out of 19 teams at the Southeastern Kentucky Intercollegiate/Mid-South Conference Spring Invitational.  The University of the Cumberlands won the Invitational with a score of 601 over the two-days, while Indiana Wesleyan University was runner-up with a two-day total of 607.  The Bears shot a two-day total of 649, edging conference foe Cedarville by a stroke. 

Isaiah Keller led the Bears as he shot 157 (79+78) over the two-day event, placing 20th.  Bryan Spille tallied 165 (80+85) strokes, while Ronal Dials finished with a score of 167 (83+84) in the Invitational.  R.D. Erwin shot 168 (88+80) during the Invitational, while Cody Robbins rounded out the scoring with a two-day total of 172 (80+92).  [Results]

 
March 19 - 20 @ Shawnee State Invitational
Shawnee State had a strong finish to overtake Indiana Tech on Day 2 of the SSU Invitational to finished 3rd.  Cedarville won the event with a overall score of 596, while Ohio Dominican finished second as they shot a two-day total of 596.  Shawnee State shot a 306 today to add to yesterday's score of 313 for a combined total of 619 for the tournament.  Indiana Tech finished with 624 strokes, while Capital and Indiana Tech's B Team finished 5th and 6th. 

Cedarville's Matt Krogstad was the Invitational Medalist as he shot a two-day total of 143, beating the next opponent by six strokes.  Isaiah Keller led the Bears with a 5th overall finish and named All-Tournament.  Keller shot a 151 (77+74) for the tournament.  Cody Robbins and Bryan Spille tied for 13th as they both shot 156.  Ronald Dials tallied a two-day total of 157 for 16th place, while R.D. Irwin finished the tournament with a score of 158 to round out the scoring for the Bears. 

In other SSU action, SSU's individual's Craig Magill, Kevin Eagle, and Jay Rudmann shot 164, 165, and 168 during the Invitational. [Results]

 

Fall Matches

 
August 31 - September 1 @ Burger King/Ohio Valley Invitational
Shawnee State golf team finished 14th out of 15 teams at the Burger King/Ohio Valley Invitational.  Indiana University of Pa. won the invitational as they posted a two day score of 597.  Shawnee State accumulated a score of 682.
