Shawnee State placed 10th out of 12 teams at the AMC/NAIA
Region IX Golf Championship on Thursday and Friday. Shawnee
State posted rounds of 322, 316, and 310 to end with a two-day total
948. Malone College won the event with a team-total 898.
Koby Vogler paced the Bears with a 17th place overall finish.
He opened with a round of 78 followed by a pair of 76's. David
Mays carded a 238 (79 + 79 + 80) to finish 36th. Joe Augustin
tallied a 239 and finished in 42nd place. Drew Prater was 44th

April 23 - 24 @ Cedarville Invitational |
|
Shawnee State finished 6th out of 9 teams at the
Cedarville Invitational. Cedarville won the event with a score
of 593. Drew Prater finished the two day tournament with a
score of 161. Joe Augustin and David Mays each carded a 162.
Jeff Evans shot a 164 and Nicholas Chabot shot a 165 to round out

|
Shawnee State finished 1st of 17 teams at the OSU-Lima
Invitational. David Mays was the individual medalist shooting
a 72. Drew Prater finished 2nd with a 73. Koby Vogler
and Joe Augustine finished in 9th place with a 77. Nicholas
Chabot carded a 78 to finish in 13th place. [Results] |

|
Shawnee State finished 3rd out of 3 teams under
extremely windy conditions at the Urbana University Invitational.
Jeff Evans led the Bears with a 3rd place overall finish. He
carded and 82. Drew Prater finished 4th with an 83. Both
were named to the all-tournament team. Koby Vogler finished
10th with a score of 90. David Mays shot 91 and Nate Burgess
shot 92 to round out the scoring for Shawnee State. [Results] |

Shawnee State placed 5th out of 11 teams at the Mount
Vernon Nazarene Cougar. Cedarville won the event with a score
of 610. Tiffin's Danny Sorgini was medalist as he shot a 145.
Drew Prater finished 6th and shot a 152, while Koby Vogler was 12th
and shot a 154. Joe Augustin carded a 158 and David Mays

Invitational |
|
Shawnee State placed 3rd out of 7 teams at the Capital
Purple and White Invitational.
Otterbein won the event with a score of 606. Koby Vogler was
medalist as he shot a 146. Nathan Burgess was 13th and shot a
158, while Jeff Evans tied for 30th with 167. Nicholas Chabot

4th out of 8 teams at the Shawnee State Invitational. Ohio
Dominican won the event with a score of 591. ODU's Todd Suman
was medalist as he shot a 138. Koby Vogler led the Bears with
an 8th place finish overall. He carded a two-day total of 152.
Jeff Evans shot 153 and Nicholas Chabot shot 154. Nathan

Ohio Dominican Invitational. Shawnee State shot a 638

shooting 158 (76+82). R.D. Erwin carded a 163 (81+82) and

David Mays shot a total of 164 (89+75) and Koby Vogler shot a 165
(89+76). Jake Kelly carded a 170 (87+83) and Ricky Whitely

Invitational. Shawnee State shot a 463 (309+154) for 3 rounds.
Urbana won the event with a score of 458. Koby Vogler was the

David Mays shot 118. R.D Erwin carded a 128 and Jeff Evans carded a 135.
Shawnee State's B team finished 11th shooting a 492. Jake

Valley Invitational at Woodridge Plantation. Shawnee State

overall finish. He carded a two-day total of 146 (70+76).
Drew Prater shot 151 (77+74) and David Mays shot 155 (79+76).
