2009 Season -- Eric ran his career best of 27:48 at the Shawnee State Invitational on September 4.

Logan Elm High School -- Eric was a two-time state qualifier in cross country at Logan Elm High School. He earned 1st team all-district honors four times and earned Academic All-Ohio honors twice in cross country. In track he was a three-time state qualifier and earned Academic All-Ohio three times. He was named the Wendy's High School Heisman Award recipient.
