November 22 @ NAIA National Championship

The men's team finished 11th out of 32 teams in their fourth appearance at the meet. Malone captured their second straight NAIA National Championship as they tallied 61 points in the meet.  Keegan Rathkamp led the Bears as he finished 10th overall in a time of 24:45, becoming Shawnee State's first male runner to earn All-American recognition.  Paul Webb finished the course in 25:54, following closely behind was Josh Linkous who recorded a time of 25:57.  Michael Owen (26:16) and Chuck Wentz (26:23) rounded out the scoring for the Bears. November 8 @ AMC Championship

NAIA No. 20 ranked Shawnee State Men's Cross Country Team finished 3rd at the AMC Championship with 79 points.  No. 1 ranked Malone won the event with 20 points and No. 14 ranked Cedarville came in 2nd place with 63 points.  Keegan Rathkamp paced the Bears as he finished the course in a time of 26:49 placing 6th overall and earning 1st Team All-AMC honors.  Josh Linkous finished 15th overall in a time of 27:50 and Paul Webb finished in a time of 28:08.  Linkous and Webb each earned Honorable Mention All-AMC recognition.  Rounding out the scoring for the Bears was Michael Owen (28:12) and Chuck Wentz (28:13). October 10 @ All-Ohio Championship
Shawnee State, which is ranked 24th in the NAIA, finished 13th out of 42 teams.  Malone won the event for the second straight year as they had a score of 84.  Keegan Rathkamp placed 7th and finished the course in 25:49.  Chuck Wentz ran a time of 27:28, followed closely by Paul Webb who ran the course in 27:29.  Josh Linkous and Michael Owen rounded out the scoring as they finished the race in a time of 27:40 and 27:47. October 4 @ Greater Louisville Classic
Shawnee State finished 21st out of 33 teams at the Greater Louisville Classic.  Southern Illinois won the event with a team score of 77.  Keegan Rathkamp paced with Bears as he finished 24th overall in a school-record time of 24:37.  He shattered the school-record of which he already owned by 35 seconds.  Zach Holbert finished the course in a time of 26:06, followed by Paul Webb in a time of 26:09.  Josh Linkous ran the course in 26:14 and Joe Jinks in a time of 26:24 to round out the scoring for the Bears. 
 
September 20 @ Friendship Invitational

Shawnee State Men's Team finished 2nd out of 20 team.  Keegan Rathkamp won the event in a time 25:27.  Josh Linkous finished 7th in a time of 26:35.  Chuck Wentz finished 20th in a time of 27:08, followed by Tyler Hickey who finished 21st in a time of 27:09.  Joe Jinks finished the course in 27:12 to capture 24th place and round out of the scoring for the Bears. September 5 @ Shawnee State Invitational

Shawnee State  won its sixth consecutive Shawnee State Invitational at Earl Thomas Conley Park.  The Bears captured seven of the first ten places and finished with 17 points.  Berea took second place as they finished with 62 points and Mt. Vernon was third with 72 points.  Keegan Rathkamp won the five-mile event in a time of 25:47.  Michael Owen placed 2nd with a time of 26:44, followed closely by Josh Linkous who ran 26:50.  Joe Jinks ran the course in 26:53 to finish fifth.  Justin Hornick finished out the Bears scoring as he finished 7th with a time of 27:06.
