Coach's Comments -- "Cody was an individual state qualifier in cross country and comes from a strong high school program.  He should have a very successful college career."

2005 Season -- Cody ran his best time of the season at the Wilmington College Fall Classic. He ran the course in a time of 28:21.

Northwestern High School -- Smith earned all-conference honors for four years and all-area recognition three straight years.  He led Northwestern to county championships three out of four years during his high school career.
