Coach's Comments
-- "Blake's best times are still from his freshman
year. He has rededicated himself and is working hard for a
great senior season."
2004 Season -- For the second
time in his career, Blake won the Kentucky Christian Invitational.
His best time of the year and of his career came at the NAIA
National Championship Meet. He covered the 5k course in
Louisville in a time of 26:54.
2003 Season --
Blake ran his season best time of 28:00 at the Friendship
Invitational. He ran a 28:05 at the Wilmington Fall
Classic.
2002 Season -- Blake ran
in seven meets during his sophomore season. His best
time of the fall came at the Wilmington Invitational.
2001 Season -- Blake set two of
the fastest times in SSU history as a freshman. His time
of 27:05 in the SSU Invitational garnered him sixth place in
the race as well as sixth place on Shawnee
State's list of top 20 fastest times.
Western Brown High School Blake
was a two-time All-League honoree in track and three-time
honoree in cross country. He was the league cross
country "Runner of the Year"
as a senior.
