Coach's Comments
-- Eric was red shirted this past season. His goal is to make this
year's travel squad. He certainly has the potential to do so.
2002 Season --
Eric ran in just 5 meets during his junior season, however, he took
home the 1st place trophy at the Big Blue Invitational. His
career-best time of 29:45 came at the AMC/NAIA Region IX
Championship Meet.
2001 Season -- Eric sat out the 2001 season as a red shirt.
2000 Season -- Eric had
two top 10 finishes in 2000. His best time of 29:47 came at
the Winthrop Invitational.

Eastern Brown High School -- Stephan
was a one-year letterman, All-League, and All-District in
cross-country. He was also a one-year letterman and All-League in
track.
Up Close -- Born
April 6, 1982 to Richard and Linda Stephan, Eric enjoys fishing,
hunting, mountain biking, and riding ATV's, and
is also a member of the Army Reserve. He is majoring in
Environmental Engineering; following graduation he would like to
work for the government as a conservationist.
