-- Blake had an outstanding freshmen season running in the #2
position all season. He won the "best freshman runner
award"! He holds two of the top 20 fastest XC times - 6th and
8th. He just missed running in the 26:00 range and he should be
there all season. A tough competitor he will keep his teammates from
moving him down the list!
2002 Season -- Blake ran
in seven meets during his sophomore season. His best
time of the fall came at the Wilmington Invitational.
2001 Season -- Blake set two of
the fastest times in SSU history as a freshman. His time
of 27:05 in the SSU Invitational garnered him sixth place in
the race as well as sixth place on Shawnee
State's list of top 20 fastest times.
Western Brown High School Blake
was a two-time All-League honoree in track and three-time
honoree in cross country. He was the league cross
country "Runner of the Year"
as a senior.
