2002 Cross Country

Coach's Comments -- Chad is returning to running after a couple of years off. He comes from the very strong Minerva High School program. He ran very well in the Spring Bear Run and is ready for this fall's challenges. Excellent potential and desire! He should run in the 27:00 minute range.

2002 Season -- Chad ran a career best time of 28:26 at the Wilmington Invitational where Shawnee placed 2nd out of 19 teams.  He was the deciding runner at the season opening Asbury Meet as he finished seven places ahead of Morehead State's 6th place runner to break a 32-all tie.

Minerva High School --  Chad was a letter winner in both cross country and track at Minerva High School.


Up-Close -- Chad is the son of Ann and Frank Monk.  He enjoys running, throwing frisbee, and playing video games.  Chad is majoring in Business  with a concentration in Accounting.
