Coach's Comments -- Dave is an outstanding runner that is coming off a disappointing season. He has excellent potential and needs to get back the drive that he has to be a winner! Dave is very capable of running in the low 27:00 minute range.

2002 Season -- Dave ran in two races for the Bears.  His best time of 32:27 came at the Rio Grande Invitational where Shawnee placed 2nd.

2001 Season -- Dave struggled through the early part of the season.  He rebounded to run a season best 28:46 at the SSU Invitational.

West Union High School -- Dave ran track and cross country, collecting numerous honors including All-League and All-District.

Up Close -- Born March 22, 1979, Dave is the son of David and Cindy Abbott.  He is a Sports Management major, and hopes to be a coach after graduation.
