November 4 @ AMC Championship/NAIA Region IX Meet
Shawnee State finished 10th out of 13 teams competing in the NAIA Region IX Meet.  They were 8th among 10 American Mideast Conference schools.  Dave Lykins led the Bears with 21st place finish.  John Williams, Adam Tolle, Nate Burchett, and Eric Stephan rounded out the top five for the Bears.
 
October 28 @ SSU Invitational
Shawnee State captured its first ever SSU Invitational as they knocked off the four other teams in the field.  Dave Lykins finished 2nd and John Williams finished 3rd to lead the Bears.  Adam Tolle, Nate Burchett, and Billy Sember rounded out the top five for Shawnee State.  
 
October 20 @ Wilmington Fall Classic
Shawnee State finished 9th out of 21 teams in the Eighth Annual Wilmington College Fall Classic.  Dave Lykins led the team with a 30th place finish.  He was followed closely by John Williams in 31st place.  Adam Tolle, Nate Burchett, and Billy Sember rounded out the top five for the Bears.
 
October 14 @ The Legends (Ashtabula, OH)
Shawnee State finished 3rd out of 6 teams in The Legends Meet in Ashtabula, OH.  On a course that takes runners through a river as well as mud and sand, the Bears ran quite well.  Nate Burchett, John Williams, Dave Lykins, and Adam Tolle finished 12-15.  As this is considered a non-sanctioned event, red shirt freshman Brett LeMaster's 20th place finish was used in the calculation of the team score.
 
October 7 @ Rio Grande Invitational
Shawnee State finished 3rd out of 9 teams in the 30th Annual Rio Grande Invitational.  John Williams led the Bears as he finished 8th overall and set an SSU record for the fastest time recorded for a Shawnee State runner.  Dave Lykins, Nate Burchett, Adam Tolle, and Eric Stephan rounded out the top five spots for the Bears.
 
September 30 @ Pikeville Invitational
The Bears won their 2nd meet of the season as they took 7 of the top 10 places at the 1st Annual Pikeville Invitational.  Dave Lykins, John Williams, and Adam Tolle ran 1-2-3 in the race.  Nate Burchett and Mark Willet finished 5th and 8th to round out the top five spots for Shawnee State.  
 
September 23 @ Big Blue Challenge
The Bears finished 2nd out 8 teams competing in the very tough Big Blue Challenge.  John Williams and Dave Lykins again led the charge for Shawnee State.  William finished 5th and Lykins placed 7th.  Nate Burchett finished 9th; Adam Tolle was 10th; Mark Willet rounded out the Bears' top five as he finished 17th overall.
 
September 16 @ Winthrop Invitational
Shawnee State finished 2nd out of 12 teams competing in the 16th Annual Winthrop Invitational.  John Williams and David Lykins led the team as they finished 9th and 10th respectively.  Adam Tolle finished 18th; Nathan Burchett was 27th; Eric Stephan rounded out the top 5 finishing 29th.  The second place finish marked the Bears' best showing at the Winthrop meet.
 
September 9 @ Kentucky Christian Meet
Shawnee State took 4 of the top 5 and 7 of the top 13 spots at the Kentucky Christian Meet.  Adam Tolle set the course record as he finished in 28:41.  Dave Lykins finished in 29:08 to take second.  Despite throwing a shoe at the 2.5 mile mark, John Williams finished in 29:49 to take 3rd.  Eric Stephen rounded out the top 5, finishing in 31:05.
