Hamilton played basketball at The College of Wooster where he received a Bachelor's degree in History.  From there he went to Illinois College where he was the head women's soccer coach and head men's golf coach.  He was also an assistant coach for the men's basketball team.  

In 1999, Hamilton joined the men's basketball staff of Ohio University as a graduate assistant.  He earned a Master's degree in Physical Education and remained on staff at O.U. as an assistant coach during the 2000-2001 season.  

In addition to coaching men's basketball, Hamilton is also the athletic director.  Jeff resides in Portsmouth with his wife Rhonda.

Jerry played basketball at Presbyterian College and the University of Rio Grande where he received a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences.  Jerry played his freshman year at Presbyterian College, where he averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds a game, before transferring to the University of Rio Grande.  At Rio Grande he helped lead the team to the NAIA Div. II Final Four and earned 1st Team All-AMC and Honorable Mention All-American status twice.  During his career at Rio Grande he scored over 1,350 points and 500 rebounds.      

In addition to his assistant coaching role, Jerry is also the Intramural Director.  Jerry resides in Lucasville with his wife Leah.
