2009 - 2010 Season -- Tyler started in all 29 games in his first season with the Bears.  Tyler led the team in numerous statistical categories.  He averaged 14.6 points and 8 rebounds per game both team highs.  He also led in field goal percentage, and was second in free throw percentage.  His 54 assists was third best on the team, and he was second in steals with 38.  Tyler was also named AMC Freshmen of the Year as well as making the AMC All-Conference Team.

Western Brown High School -- Tyler was an all-around athlete at Western Brown.  He earned three varsity letters in basketball, but also lettered four times in track, twice in golf and once in football.  Over his three-year career at Western Brown, Tyler guided his team to a 44-19 record, including a record of 18-3 during his senior campaign.  Tyler averaged a double-double during his junior and senior seasons, averaging 16 points and 14 rebounds a a junior and 23 points and 17 rebounds as a senior.  He is a two time 1st Team All-SBAAC selection.
