Coach's Comments -- "Kevin is
a big physical center who gives us a presence down low. He will
make a difference in post this year and could emerge as one of the
best low post threats in the conference."
2005
- 2006 Season -- Kevin played and started in 11 games for the
Bears. He averaged 10.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1 block
per game. He recorded a career-high 23 points in the 66-75
loss against Jackson State on November 26.
Morehead State University --
Kevin
signed with Morehead State University out of high school, but red
shirted his freshman season. As a red shirt freshman last
season, McDonald averaged 3.5 points and 2.1 rebounds while
playing 13 minutes per game.
Harrison High School -- McDonald
averaged 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game as a senior
at Harrison High School during the 2002 – 2003 season. He
earned earned all-conference and all-district honors. He was
also named 1st Team Academic All-State.
