Coach's Comments -- "Tyler joins the
program after a stellar high school career at Marietta. Tyler has
great shooting touch and very good basketball instincts. His
strength and skills will allow him to compete for minutes at both
guard positions this season. As he adjusts to the college game,
Tyler should become an outstanding player."
2004
- 2005 Season -- Tyler played in 29 of 33 games as a
freshman. He had a career-high 21 points in an 87-74 win
over Mt. Vernon Nazarene on January 15. He was 8 of 13 in
the game including 5 of 8 from beyond the arc.
Marietta
High School -- Tyler
ended his high school career as Marietta's all-time leading
scorer with 1,289 points. He earned All-SEOAL, All-District 13, and Special Mention
All-Ohio honors three consecutive years.
As a senior, Lough averaged 19.9 points, 3.5 assists,
and 3.8 rebounds per game.
He set a school record with 47 points in a game versus
Point Pleasant his senior year.
