| Brandi Baker twice earned All-American Mideast
Conference and was named an NAIA All-American for the 1999-2000
season. In Addition, she earned AMC and NAIA All-Scholar
Athlete recognition as a junior and senior. She currently
stands 3rd on the all-time scoring list with 1,697 points and 4th on
the all-time rebound list with 874. Brandi was inducted in
2006. |

| Tony
Brown played 82 rounds of golf and tallied a 79.8 scoring
average.
He earned All-Conference and All-American honors in 1997.
He led the Bears to a conference championship in 1997 as well
as an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament. Tony was
inducted in 2003.

| Amy Cole-McGuire

| During that span, Amy
Cole-McGuire was a 4-time All-Mid-Ohio
Conference selection and 4-time NAIA All-District honoree. Amy
had a career fielding percentage of .924 at the shortstop
position. She had a career batting average of .333. In
addition to softball, Amy played basketball for two seasons.
Amy was inducted into the Hall with the Inaugural Class in 2000.

| Ralph Cole

Ralph Cole took over as head coach
of the Shawnee State Softball Team in 1992 after serving two years
as assistant coach. In
the thirteen seasons since taking over, Cole has compiled a 385-160
record. He has led the
Bears to 9 conference championships and 9 appearances in the NAIA
National Tournament. He
earned Conference Coach of the Year Honors in 1996, the same year
Shawnee
State
was the runner up at the National Tournament.
He was inducted in 2005. |

| Kim Danner -- Basketball 1988-1991 |

Kim Danner was named to the NAIA All-District team
three times. She earned Kodak All-American honors and NAIA
All-Scholar Athlete honors in 1991. She currently ranks fifth
on Shawnee State's all-time scoring list with 1,289
points. Kim was inducted with the inaugural class in
2000.

| Brandon Doss was a two-time All-American Mideast
Conference selection during his career. He earned NAIA
All-American honors as a senior in 2000. He finished his
career with school records of 262 hits, 43 homeruns, and 185 RBI.
He hold 8 additional Shawnee State Baseball records. Brandon
was inducted in 2006. |

| Aaron Duncan had a
.374 career batting average and scored 97 career runs.
He twice earned 1st Team All-Conference and NAIA
All-Scholar Athlete honors. He
is a member of the induction class of 2002.

| Bryan Dyer finished his career
with 887 points which ranks 10th
on Shawnee State’s All-Time Scoring List. His 887 career rebounds
make him the leading rebounder in Shawnee State History. He also
holds the record for most rebounds in a season (436 in 1994 -1995)
and for most rebounds in a game (26). Bryan was an All-Conference
selection in 1995. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in
2001.

| Leah Fickell was a two-time all-conference player.
She also earned All-MOC Scholar Athlete and NAIA All-American
Scholar Athlete honors in 1996.
She played on four conference championship teams and the 1996
NAIA National Runner-Up team. She was inducted into the Hall
of Fame in 2003.

| Erica Hayes

Erica Hayes earned all-conference honors each of her four seasons at SSU
including the Conference Player of the Year Award in 1999.
She was a two-time All-American and the NAIA Division II
Player of the Year in 1999 when she led the Bears to a National
Championship. She is
second on the SSU’s all-time scoring list with 2184 points.
She holds eight school records including most rebounds in a
career with 1193. She was inducted in 2005.

The Home Team Award is
meant to recognize special service, spirit, and loyalty to Shawnee
State Athletics. Ralph
Kavanaugh, longtime equipment manager for Shawnee State Athletics,
will received the inaugural award in 2005.
“Over the years, many of our athletes have referred to
Ralph as Home Team,” said SSU Athletics Director Jim Arnzen.
“He is easily one of the most popular people on campus and
he is very worthy of this award.”

Kari Koehn earned All-MOC honors three times in her career, and was
named 1st Team All-American in 1997 and 1998.
She earned MOC and NAIA All-Scholar Athlete honors in 1997.
She had a career batting average of .388. She
had 51 doubles, 13 triples, and 11 homeruns to go along with 142
career RBI’s.
She helped lead the Bears to 4 consecutive MOC titles during
her career.

Linville-Shultz
scored 1,027 career points and dished out 426 career assists. She earned 1st Team All-Conference honors in 1996.
She is a member of the 2002 induction class.

Roger
Merb has coached the men’s golf team since its inception in 1989.
He has led the Bears to 30 tournament victories including the
Mid-Ohio Conference Championship in 1997.
That 1997 team went on to place 11th at the NAIA
National Tournament.
He was named the MOC Golf Coach of the Year in 1997.

| Travis Merry is the fourth
leading scorer in Shawnee State history with 1,117 points. He holds
the career record for assists (579) and steals (177). He also holds
the record for most assists in a season (205 in 1993-1994) and most
assists in a game (15). Travis was selected to the NAIA All-Scholar Athlete Team in 1994. He was inducted
into the Hall of Fame in 2001.

| Randall Pennington -- Basketball 1991-1992,

| Randall Pennington is the second leading
scorer in Shawnee State history with 1,326 points. He also holds the
Shawnee State record for field goals made in a career (543) and free
throws made in a career (232). He was an All-Conference selection in
1994 and 1995. Randall was an All-American honoree in 1995. He
was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2001.

| Crystal Picklesimer -- Softball 1997-2000 |

| Crystal Picklesimer was a four-time All-American
Mideast Conference honoree and earned NAIA All-American honors as a
junior and senior. She was the American Mideast Conference
Player of the Year in 2000. She had a career-batting average
of .431 to go along with a school record 65 doubles and 18 triples.
She also holds the school record for doubles in a season with 22 and
walks in a career with 78. Crystal was inducted in 2006. |

| Lanny Rice
in 83 rounds of golf posted a 77.4 average.
He helped lead the Bears to 12 tournament wins over the
course of his career. He
won six individual tournament titles, including the 1995 MOC
Championship in 1995.
He earned All-MOC honors twice, and was named the MOC Player
of the Year in 1995.
He was twice named to the MOC and NAIA All-Scholar Athlete
Teams.

Robin Hagen-Smith
is entering her nineteenth year as Women’s Head Basketball Coach
at Shawnee State University. In the past eight years, she has taken
the Bears to the national competition finishing with three Sweet
Sixteen's, two Elite Eight's, one Final Four, and a National
Championship in 1999. She has led the Bears to the conference
championship each of the past five seasons as well as in 1992 and
1994. She has a career record of 412-124. Robin has received many
coaching awards that include MOC and AMC Coach of the Year (5
times), 1997-98 WBCA IKON Coach of the Year, 1998-99 NAIA National
Coach of the Year, and 1998-99 Dispatch Women’s Ohio College
Basketball Coach of the Year.
Hagen-Smith’s
basketball success at SSU began in 1979 when she played for Shawnee
State Community College before transferring in 1981 to the
University of Rio Grande. She was inducted into the Hall with
the Inaugural Class in 2000.

| Jeff Suter holds

career (42); most assists in a season (12); most assists in a career
(27); most points in a season (48); and most points in a career
(111). He earned 2nd
Team All-Conference honors in 1993.
Jeff was inducted into the Hall in 2002.

| Harry Weinbrecht was a member of the Shawnee
State faculty from 1964 to 2000. He coached OU-Portsmouth
(later Shawnee State Community College) to 5 straight branch
championships. In 1976 he coached
Shawnee State Community College to a 29-2 season. He served as
athletic director until 1992, and he oversaw the transition from
Junior College association to the National Association of
Intercollegiate Athletics. He was inducted into the Hall with
the Inaugural Class of 2000. |

| Jenni Wessel -- Basketball 1991-1995 |

Jenni Wessel is the all-time leading scorer in SSU history with 2,280 points.
She holds the SSU records for points in a game (48); field goals
made in a career (977); field goals made in a game (23); and
rebounds in a game (20). Her .594 career field goal percentage and
1,092 career rebounds rank second in Shawnee State History. The 23
field goals made against Urbana University on January 15, 1994,
stands as the NAIA Division II national record. Jenni was the 1995
Conference Player of the Year. She earned All-American Honors in
1994 and 1995. Jenni was inducted into the Hall of Fame in
2001.

Kim White currently holds 12 Shawnee State Softball records.
She hit 42 homeruns, had 213 RBI, scored 204 runs, and hit
for a .458 batting average.
She helped lead the Bears to a National Runner-Up finish in
1996.
She was the conference player of the year four consecutive
seasons and the NAIA Player of the Year in 1997.
She earned All-American honors all four years she played.
She was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2003.

blocked shots in a season (77) and most blocked shots in a career
(122). Brian was a two-time NAIA All-District selection.

her career with 1,176 points. In 1992 she was named the
Mid-Ohio Conference Player of the Year. She was also named to

State records for most free throws made in a game (14), most steals
in a game (9), and most steals in a season (96). Tracy was
inducted into the Hall with the Inaugural Class in 2000.
