"Justin is a jack of all trades. He will hit in
the middle of our lineup, be at the top of our rotation, and have an
opportunity to play every position on the field. He has the ability
to be an All-Conference type of player for us."
2008 Season
-- Justin started in all but one game as a senior.
He led the team in doubles with 11 on the season. He compiled
a batting average of .276 with 21 runs, 42 hits, 1 homerun, and 24
RBI's. On the mound, Justin led the team with a 3.63 ERA
and was second on the team with 67 innings pitched. He
compiled a 2-8 record with 2 saves in 14 appearances.
2007 Season
-- Justin led the the team with 43 hits, 15 doubles, 4
homeruns, and 26 RBI's and was second on the team with 28 runs
scored on the season. His best game of the season, Justin had
2 homeruns on 3 hits in the Bears 5-6 loss to West Virginia Tech on
April 22. Justin compiled a 3-3 record with a 2.86 ERA in 8
appearance. He was second on the team with 50.1 innings
pitched. Justin earned 2nd Team All-AMC honors for the 2007
season.
2006 Season
-- Justin posted the best ERA on the squad at 4.60 and was
2nd on the squad with 43.0 innings pitched. He posted a 4-3
record in 9 appearances. Justin was first on the with a triple
and second on the team with 6 doubles. He also compiled a .243
batting average, with 22 runs, 28 hits, 18 RBI's and 3 homeruns.
2005 Season -- Justin
tied for the team lead with 12 doubles and 3 triples on the season.
He was second on the team with 33 RBI and and 6 homeruns. His
best game of the season came in an 18-6 win at Urbana on April 5.
He was 3 for 3 on the day with 4 runs scored and 5 RBI. He was
named Honorable Mention All-AMC.
South Webster High School --
Justin played baseball, basketball, and golf at South
Webster. He earned all-district honors in baseball.
