Shawnee State defeated Alice Lloyd 5-4 in what was supposed to be game 1 of a double-header.  The nightcap was cancelled due to rain.  Shawnee State took a quick lead as Zac Shoaf led off the game with a single and was promptly doubled home by Brian Doberdruk.  Alice Lloyd tied the game in the bottom of the second inning on a run scoring single by Robert Smith.  The Bears scored again in the third and twice in the fifth to take a 4-1 lead.  Alice Lloyd plated three runs in the bottom of the fifth and SSU's Nick Collins was replaced on the mound by Jonathon Venters.  The game was tied 4-4 heading into the seventh inning.
