Coach's Comments --
"Brian is the tallest catcher SSU has had in
years. At 6’4” he is hard to miss from a pitching standpoint.
Brian’s best aspect is his ability to hit the ball. He has a good
understanding of how to drive the ball and good hand eye
coordination."
2007 Season
-- Brian played in 37 games and started in 33 of them, as
a freshman. He was fourth on the team with a .322 batting
average. Brian had 29 hits, 5 doubles, and 16 RBI's on the
season.
Green High School -- Brian earned four
varsity letters in baseball and basketball at Green High School.
He earned 1st Team All-SOC three times and 1st Team all-district
honors twice.
