"Fischer is coming off shoulder surgery that forced
him out of action last year. So far, Fischer has shown improved arm
strength and better control of the bat."
2007 Season
-- Corey played in 34 games for the Bears. He
compiled a .370 batting average, 17 hits, 14 runs scored, 3 doubles,
and 9 RBI's on the season. Corey earned Honorable Mention All-AMC
recognition.
2006 Season --
Corey did not play the 2006 season due to a shoulder injury.
2005 Season -- Corey took a red shirt his
freshman season.
Cedarville High School -- Corey was a
three-year letter winner in baseball at Cedarville High
School. He was team captain as a senior. He earned
all-conference honors as a junior and senior.
