Coach's Comments -- 2006 Season
-- Ryan led the team with 7 doubles on the year and was
2nd on the team with 26 RBI's. He compiled a .276 batting
average, 34 hits, 13 runs, and 1 homerun. Ryan was 3-4 with 4
RBI, 2 doubles, and 1 run scored in the Bears 8-4 win over Rio
Grande on March 3.
2005 Season -- Ryan played in 34 games as a
junior in 2005. He had five multi-hit games on the year.
He was 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI in a 14-4 Bears win over
Pikeville College on April 12. 2004 Season -- Ryan was
limited to just 30 games due to a leg injury suffered in the series
with Ohio Dominican. Despite limited action, he was 3rd on the
team with 14 walks on the season. Ryan had 4 multi-hit games,
including 2 3-hit contests.
Urbana University --
Ryan played catcher and right field for Urbana. He compiled a
.301 batting average.
Logan Elm High School --
During his three years as a letter winner in baseball, Ryan earned
All-League and All-District selections. He was named team MVP,
and best defensive player. He earned a school record for runs
scored in one season with 38. Ryan also lettered in football
two years, and two years in basketball.
