-- Phillip played in 33 games and started in 28 of them.
He compiled a .266 batting average, 9 runs, 21 hits, 10 RBI's
and 1 homerun on the season. His best game of the season
at Mt. Vernon where he went 2-3 and hit a homerun.
Clark State Community College --
Springfield High School -- Phillip lettered 3-years
at Springfield South High School. There he played short
stop. He earned 1st team All-Area and Honorable Mention
All-District.
