Coach's Comments -- "Dan
is wearing SSU blue for the second and final year. Dan
provides us with experience and toughness up the middle. I
really believe Dan can be the best second baseman in the league if
he decides he wants to be." 2005 Season
-- Despite missing 8 games with a leg injury, Dan led the team
with 12 doubles and 5 sacrifice bunts on the season. He had 2
three-hit games on the season including a 3 for 4 performance
against NCAA Division I Morehead State University. 2004 Season -- Dan played in
all 41 of the Bears' games in 2004. He was 4th on the team
with 19 runs scored and 34 total hits. He was 2nd on the squad with
7 doubles and 80 assists, and 3rd with 19 RBI. He had 4 hits
and 4 runs scored in a win at Kentucky State on April 6.
Cuyahoga Community College
-- Dan was a two year starter at Cuyahoga, and batted a .320. During his freshman year,
he set the double play record
with fellow teammate Scott Patterson. He set the school record
for most at bats in one season during his second season at Cuyahoga.
Strongsville High School --
Dan was a two-year letter winner at Strongsville. He won the
Team MVP and Defensive Player of the Year Awards as a senior.
