-- "Jeff finished last season as one of our best
hitters. His play for us in the second half of the season
earned him a spot on the Youngstown Express collegiate summer
team. When he gets hot, he can be one of the best hitters in
the AMC." 2005 Season -- Jeff
Tillman played in all 42 games for the Bears as a senior. He
led the team with 49 total hits and was 3rd on the team with a .368
batting average, 3rd with 28 runs scored, and 3rd with 30 RBI.
He also compiled a 2-2 record in 8 pitching appearances. His
best outing of the years was a complete game 6-2 victory over
Georgetown College on April 13. He earned 2nd Team All-AMC honors for the second straight year. 2004
Season -- In his first season with the Bears, Jeff led the team
with a .375 batting average. In just 25 games he was 4th on
the team with 33 hits and 3rd with 3 homeruns. He earned 2nd
Team All-AMC honors. Cuyahoga
Community College -- Under the direction of former Bear Brian
Harrison, Jeff had a 9-2 pitching record and batted .410. He
earned an All Conference award in 2002. Hi 9 wins are a
Cuyahoga school record. Lorain
Admiral King High School -- Jeff was a three-year letter
winner in baseball and a one-year letter winner in football at
Admiral King High School.
