Coach's Comments -- "Tom
has recovered remarkably well from Tommy John surgery just a year
ago. When he is in command of his pitches, he is very tough to
beat." 2005 Season -- Tom recovered
from Tommy John surgery to post a 6-3 record and earn 2nd Team All-AMC
honors. His 3.63 ERA was best on the squad. He led the
squad with 5 complete games.
2004 Season -- Tom sat out his junior
season with an elbow injury.
2003 Season -- Tom earned First Team
All-American Mideast Conference honors compiling a record of 5-3 to
lead Shawnee. He recorded 47 strike outs in 68 innings
pitched. 2002 Season
-- Tom
had a record of 2-4 for the Bears with 12 strike outs.
Cincinnati Elder High School
– Tom was a four-year letter winner in baseball and
earned All-League honors. He also played football and
basketball.
