"Josh is a great pick-up for the
team. He can pitch and play the infield. When I saw
Josh, I knew that he was an athlete. He has a canon from
short and very good foot work. He has been taught well.
Sands pitching debut was dominating. He had good movement
and tight spin. Josh can accomplish anything he puts his
mind to. Discipline will set him aside from other players in
this conference."
2005 Season -- Josh took a red shirt his
freshman season.
Ironton High School -- Josh
was a four-year letter winner in baseball, basketball, and
football at Ironton High School. He earned all-state honors
in each sports.
