22nd Annual Commencement

Saturday, May 10th

Shawnee State had its first May Commencement on May 10th on the Alumni Green.

Alumni Council Member Ken Warfield ('77), president of the University Faculty Senate leads the procession.

Ohio’s 20th District Senator Joy Padgett, chair of the Senate Education Committee, was the Commencement Speaker.

Shane Fields, Sue Ann Fields ('01), Jonna Cook ('05) and Sandy Belford ('03 & '06) handed out gifts from the Alumni Association and Student Government Association to the graduates.
