Alumni Awards Banquet

Saturday, May 7th

The annual Alumni Awards Banquet was Saturday, May 7, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. in the Micklethwaite Banquet Hall of the University Center.

A group of alumni from a variety of years enjoyed a delicious meal and an evening of reminiscing.

The winner of the Silver Star Alumni Award was Linda Nickel ('75).  Linda is a member of the SSU Dental Hygiene faculty and she supervises the community service of the dental hygiene students.

The winner of the Alumnus of Tomorrow Award was Sarah Tingler, a business administration major from Minford.  Sarah is going on to get her master's at Ohio State University and plans to become a CPA.

Next year's event is scheduled for May 6th, as part of Alumni Weekend.  Be sure to update your information so we can send you an invitation.  I hope to see you there!
