Homecoming 2007

Friday and Saturday, February 16th and 17th!

Friday night, the Alumni Association, the Blue Crew and the Student Programming Board joined forces for the Big Blue Bonfire.  Everyone enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate as SPB handed out towels and backpacks and the Blue Crew handed out stickers and tattoos.  Shawn E. Bear had a great time and we burned a Blue Knight to get our basketball teams fired up for the games!

Saturday, the day started off with the Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Brunch.  A packed house watched Carrie Brisker-Purcell (basketball), Jayson Pratt (baseball), Kirk Ruggles (basketball) and Gregg Smith (Women's Basketball Assistant Coach) honored for their athletic accomplishments.

Unfortunately, the basketball games were postponed until Sunday because of weather, but the Coronation of the Homecoming King and Queen went on as scheduled in front of a large crowd of their families and friends.
