The Office of Admission is open
for individual visits Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
The campus tours are at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. The housing
tours are at 11:00am and 2:00pm. Saturday visits are available the
first Saturday of the month during the academic year (September -
May) from 10:00am to noon. Please call the Office of Admission at
(740)351-3221 or 1(800)959-2778 ext.7 to schedule a campus visit.
Your campus visit to Shawnee
State University will include a meeting with an admissions officer,
a personalized campus tour with a student tour guide and a housing
tour. If you would like to meet with a Financial Aid representative,
a faculty member or an athletic coach these accommodations can only
be made during weekday visits.
The Office of Admission encourages all prospective students to visit
campus and to explore the wonderful facilities that Shawnee State
University students call home.
It
just takes one look at the state-of-the-art labs and unique
University Housing to say, "This is where I want to attend college!"
On
your campus tour, you will see the
Clark
Planetarium
which houses the Konica-Minolta Mediaglobe 3D
and the beautiful
Vern Riffe Center for the Arts which has a visual reality room
and much more. Our academic buildings have recently been renovated
which complete the total look of an impressive liberal arts campus.
