Kelly Hatas:
I graduated in June of 2007 from Shawnee State University with a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in International Relations.  I am now a second year VISTA at Shawnee State and my project focus is on environmental responsibility and service learning.  I will be working with students and community members alike on environmental initiative projects, such as our campus recycling program, local river cleanups, and in general, conservation.  I'm looking forward to the opportunity to really do some good things in this area.  After my year of service, I would like to continue on in a line of service work, whether that happens to be through AmeriCorps, Habitat for Humanity, or another organization.

Sarah Lowe:
Hi!  I am the new Campus and Community Collaboration Leader at Shawnee State University.  I recently graduated from the University of Dayton with a concentration in Social Justice and Religious Studies.  I've always felt a call to serve the less fortunate and becoming a Vista* just fell in place.  As a Vista at Shawnee State University I will be working towards an integration of Service learning into the curriculum, organizing a Habitat for Humanity collegiate challenge as an alternative spring break, as well as coordinating on and off campus service events for students and community alike.  I hope to serve for two years at Shawnee State University and then continue my education with a Masters in Counseling.
